Day 12 of the $40 million guaranteed POWERFEST took place on Thursday 17th May with the crowning of another 24 champions, including the winner of the $5 million guaranteed $25,500 buy-in Championship Event.

“WWWpartyCOM” won the POWERFEST #64-SHR: $5M Gtd Championship Event NL Hold’em for a massive $872,839 after a three-handed deal with “JgsNV” and “R0meluLukaku” who between them shared more than $2.3 million.
The $5 million guarantee was hit after 202 entries were processed. The $5,050,000 prize pool was shared among the top 32 finishers and two Team partypoker members showed a return on their $25,500 investment.
Isaac “Ike_Haxton” Haxton bust in 31st place for $52,520, which is the same sum Patrick “Patrick_Leonard” Leonard walked away with for his 25th place finish.
$116,150 was the least any of the eight players at the final table could win. “FMlife” fell in eighth-place with “PokerG1rl69” collecting $156,550 for their seventh-place finish.
MILLIONS Germany Super High Roller champion Michael Chi “mczhang” Zhang was eliminated in sixth-place for $212,100 with partypoker regular Manig “liangmannu” Loeser crashing out in fifth-place for $277,750.
Ben “CowEyed” Tollerene, who won this event in September 2017 for $846,772, fell in fourth-place and the final three players struck a deal for the remaining $2,309,870 prize pool.
R0meluLukaku banked $657,848, JgsNV walked away with $779,181 and WWWpartyCOM added $872,839 to their partypoker bankroll.

British pro “Pete_Tugger187” won the POWERFEST #65-HR: $200K Gtd PKO Smooth NL Hold’em for a combined score of $54,241 when bounty payments were taken into account.
A field of 597 created a prize pool of $305,962 to smash the $200,000 guarantee. Anatoly “NL_Profit” Filatov, Joao “joaosimaobh” Simao, Richard “RichyDubini” Dubini and Patrick “Patrick_Leonard” Leonard of Team partypoker all cashed in the event, the latter falling in 11th place for $1,910 and $1,607 in bounties
The player of the hour was Pete_Tugger187 of Kent who now has almost $300,000 in winnings at partypoker. A shout-out has to go to “Gl4diat0r” who finished second for $19,556 from the prize pool and $3,281 in bounties. Gl4diat0r now has more than $650,000 in winnings online at partypoker.

POWERFEST #66-HR: $500K Gtd NL Hold’em event was yet another tournament that saw its lofty guarantee hit, this time it was surpassed by $24,000 thanks to 524 players exchanging $1,050 for the chance to become a POWERFEST champion.
“pieru_VLADI” won the lion’s share of the prize pool, namely $97,673 after they were the last player standing. They defeated “KERRMODE” heads-up to leave the runner-up collecting $69,430 while the UK’s Paul “pvasnunes” Nunes secured a $47,317 payday for his third-place finish.
Bertrand “ElkY_” Grospellier was Team partypoker’s only representative to reach the money place. The popular Frenchman exited in 69th place for $2,358.
